Story

# Learning, teaching, building.

I learned to program, taught others to do it, then co-founded an AI company. Today I bring that experience to people who want help taking their next step with technology.

Now

## Working directly with people and teams.

I help with technology decisions, practical AI training and software projects. I'm based in Sofia and work across the EU and US, in English and Bulgarian.

I completed my MBA at Cardiff Metropolitan University, through Varna University of Management, as valedictorian. My research explored how software engineers adopt AI tools. The university has expressed interest in publishing the work.

### MBA · Cardiff Metropolitan University

Graduated as valedictorian. Research into how software engineers adopt AI productivity tools.

2024

## Co-founding Keen Agents.

I co-founded Keen Agents and led its engineering. We built an AI-agent platform for medium and large enterprises, alongside systems used in logistics, automotive and e-learning. That experience taught me how much it takes to carry an idea through to software people can rely on.

Keen Agents · enterprise experience

- Logistics document automation

- On-premise automotive extraction

- E-learning content workflows

2020 – 2023

## From Telerik Academy student to programming trainer.

After completing Telerik Academy's programming programme, I was hired as a technical trainer. I spent the next three years helping people learn programming and prepare for work in software.

For three years, I helped more than 300 people learn programming, from their first lines of code towards careers in software. Teaching made me better at explaining difficult things and meeting people where they are.

From learning to teaching

- Telerik Academy graduate

- Joined the academy as a trainer

- Three years helping people learn to code

Before 2020

## Finding the work I wanted to do.

I spent a year in medical school before changing direction. Work in logistics introduced me to business operations and securing EU funding. I then worked in videography and built a business around it, before committing to a career in software.

Teens

## Ten years of Kyokushin karate.

I trained for around ten years, won seven gold medals and competed in Tokyo, New York and Los Angeles. The discipline and patience stayed with me long after the competitions.

## In my own words

Before a four-hour public workshop in 2025, DEV.BG asked me what production changes when language models enter an organisation: where they fail, what they automate well, and why teams have to keep learning. [Read the DEV.BG interview](https://dev.bg/digest/victor-valtchev-building-ai-agents-dc06/).

Outside work, I make music with AI and enjoy astronomy, physics and games. I like learning how things work, whether or not they belong in a software project.
